Holly had been training, coaching and showing Quarter horses, Paints and Appaloosas for more than 15 years. She instructs students in several events including Hunter Under Saddle, Equitation, Showmanship, Horsemanship, Western Riding, Trail, and Hunter Hack.
Her horses and students have won numerous state and national titles including:
- Tom Powers Triple Challenge Futurity Champion
- All American Quarter Horse Congress Champion
- Numerous Quarter Horse Congress Top Tens
- ApHC Futurity Champion Hunter Under Saddle
- ApHC Reserve World Champion Showmanship

Since the birth of her daughter in 2005, Holly has semi-retired from traveling to shows and now focuses on her lesson program at Thomet Stables. Her program consists of 15-20 students who take 1-2 lessons a week. Several students travel from Battle Creek, Muskegon and Big Rapids for weekly lessons with their horses to keep improving their skills for the show arena.
